Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Yena mobile application ("App"). Yena is developed and operated by Tran Bao Toan ("I", "me", "my"), an individual developer.
By accessing or using Yena, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Yena is a personalised knowledge-learning platform that uses AI to curate and deliver daily content tailored to your interests. Content is organised into knowledge pieces with interactive elements, quizzes, flashcards, and audio — across topics including psychology, neuroscience, science, technology, productivity, and more.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Yena. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
You must create an account using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account secure.
You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised use or a security breach, contact us immediately at baotoan.work@gmail.com.
I reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, without prior notice or liability.
Yena offers limited free access so you can experience the App before subscribing. Certain features and content are only available to subscribers.
Yena Pro unlocks full access to all knowledge content, AI personalisation, quizzes, flashcards, audio learning, vault, leaderboard, and all future features.

New subscribers may receive a 3-day free trial of Yena Pro. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your chosen subscription will begin automatically and you will be charged.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
All billing is processed by Apple through the App Store. I do not store or have access to your payment details.
Refund requests are handled solely by Apple in accordance with their App Store refund policy. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. I do not issue refunds directly.
I may adjust subscription prices at any time. Price changes take effect at your next renewal cycle and Apple will notify you in advance.
Yena uses AI to generate and personalise knowledge content based on your interests and learning history. By using the App, you consent to your preferences and usage data being sent to AI services for this purpose, as described in the Privacy Policy.
AI-generated content is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute professional, legal, medical, financial, or other expert advice. I make no guarantee that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or current. You should not make important decisions based solely on content within the App.
All content in Yena — including knowledge pieces, quizzes, flashcards, audio, text, design, and graphics — is owned by or licensed to Tran Bao Toan and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
I grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the App for your own private, non-commercial learning purposes.
You may not:
You agree to use the App lawfully and in good faith. You must not:
Yena integrates with third-party services including Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, Firebase (Google), and RevenueCat. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. I am not responsible for the practices or reliability of any third-party service.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. I do not warrant that:
Nothing in the App constitutes professional advice of any kind.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or missed opportunities.
My total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the total amount you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tran Bao Toan from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
I may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, I will provide in-app notice or send an email to your registered address.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Any disputes arising from these Terms will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
